As the World Wind Energy Development (2010) issued on Mar.29 by BTM, a global authoritative consulting agency in wind power industry, points out, China emerged as by far and away the most successful market, installing 13,750 MW, the highest volume ever by one country in a single year. Sinovel continued to occupy the first place in China and the third place in the world by holding an increased installed capacity of 3510MW.

Sinovel has become the largest of the Chinese suppliers since 2008. The company almost doubled its global market share in 2009, with a major leap forward from 5.0% to 9.2%, the best performance among Top 10 suppliers.
