From September 14th to 16th, 2009, the European Offshore Wind Conference & Exhibition 2009 was held in Stockholm, capital of Sweden. Gathered were the world's top offshore wind power equipment providers and operators. As the only Chinese exhibitor and the only enterprise outside of Europe able to design, manufacture and install offshore wind turbines, the representation of Sinovel Wind Co., Ltd. at this conference gained widespread attention from the global wind power industry. In just three days,Sinovel received a total of over 5,000 visitors, to whom the Chinese wind turbine producer demonstrated the 3MW offshore wind turbine with independent intellectual property rights. Sinovel also introduced its future development plan and conveyed the message that Sinovel is ready to "go global". During the exhibition, Sinovel conducted in-depth meetings with more than 200 government officials and representatives of the energy industry investors and wind turbine components suppliers. Much praise was given of Sinovel's achievements and many officials and representatives expressed willingness for further cooperation.
