Sinovel Wind Group Co., Ltd. (Stock code: 601558) is China's first specialized high-tech enterprise engaged in independent development, design, manufacturing and sale of large-scale onshore, offshore and intertidal series of wind turbines which are adaptable to a global variety of wind resources and environmental conditions, and the first in China to have developed independently the globally advanced 5MW and 6MW series wind turbines. Sinovel has achieved impressive development. Our total cumulated installed wind power capacity reached 12989MW by the end of year 2011, ranking No.1 in China.

¡ô Sinovel is the first company in China to have introduced globally-advanced MW-level wind turbine technologies, having developed the 1.5MW series of wind turbines adaptable to a global variety of wind resources and environmental conditions. In addition, Sinovel is the first company in China to have established a supporting industrial chain for the localization of MW-level wind turbines, achieving scale production of localized MW-level wind power turbines.

¡ô Sinovel is the first to have successfully completed the R&D for and realized the mass production of the global mainstream 3MW series of onshore, offshore and intertidal wind turbine series with internationally advanced technologies. Sinovel holds independent intellectual property rights.

¡ô Sinovel is the first to have finished the development and production of China¡¯s first 5MW and 6MW wind turbines with independent intellectual property rights.

¡ô Sinovel supplied all 34 sets of 3MW wind turbines for the Shanghai Donghai Bridge Offshore Wind Farm, which is the first offshore wind farm built outside Europe, and China's first demonstration offshore wind farm. All the turbines have been put into operation and have been connected with the power grid.

¡ô Sinovel is building the National Energy Offshore Wind Power Technology and Equipment R&D Center, which utilizes the world's cutting-edge technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, and leading R&D and laboratory capabilities. It is also constructing the world pioneering integrated base for the manufacturing, assembly, testing, ocean transportation and ocean installation service for large-size offshore wind turbines.
